- £27,344 - £28,900 per annum, plus standby payment and call out payments when on duty

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the East Suffolk Council's Building Maintenance Team as a Carpenter to undertake various carpentry works to the authority's housing stock.
You must be:
- in possession of a current full UK driving licence, as this is essential for this role
- qualified to City and Guilds in carpentry (or equivalent) or have a minimum of 5 years relevant site experience in carpentry and maintenance,
- be competent in all carpentry areas with the addition to enable the delivery of projects to a good acceptable standard
- Have a good understanding for the replacement/repairs of uPVC components, drilling out locks, as part of our day-to-day repairs and out of hours service.
- Have a good understanding in the use of digital handheld devices such as smart phones and tablets, with a basic IT knowledge in areas such as opening and sending emails.
