Grade 5 £12.02 -£13.91 per hour (£23,194 - £26,845 per annum, pro-rata)
37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

We are looking for an enthusiastic Caretaker who is motivated to join our hard working team. Our client is seeking to appoint a dedicated and proactive caretaker, confident in their DIY abilities who will take pride in how the school looks and functions. The post comprises of 37 hours per week covering a split shift with a requirement to meet the needs of the school during the school holidays.
Monday- Thursday
6.30am-10.30am
2.30pm-6.00 pm
Friday
6.30am-10.00am
2.30pm-6.00 pm
The main duties of the role comprise the security of the school buildings and grounds, general portage, cleaning duties and DIY. An evident proficiency in this area is desired. The role will also include the need to facilitate occasional lettings.
For this role it is essential that you have previous Caretaking or Premise management experience.
Butts Primary School currently houses an on-site dwelling which may become available to the successful applicant; in their role of caretaker, should this be of interest. It is offered on the understanding that the accommodation is connected to the caretaking position and available only whilst undertaking this role.
