About Us:
Kin House is a private-hire hotel and events venue, which opened in July 2022 in Wiltshire. With 12 bedrooms, a 200-guest dining capacity, and set in 10 acres of grounds, Kin House has been designed to marry the flexibility and creativity of an events venue, with the customer experience of an exceptional hotel stay. We aim to lead the industry by creating the most exciting new venue in the UK for private and corporate events.
About the Role:
Kin House is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic candidate looking for an opportunity to join the hotel and events industry. The role will have two key facets, firstly assisting in the day to day maintenance and operations of site. The role will be to deliver 5* service both customers, and behind the scenes, within a design led space to deliver truly unique customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have exceptional an eye for detail, a professional attitude, and an excellent understanding of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day
· Taking responsibility for the presentation of the site on a day-to-day basis. Starting each day from the gates and working through the property to ensure everything is in place.
· Assisting the operations team with setting up our client events.
· Assisting in gardening and maintenance duties at the direction of the Property Manager.
· Assisting the maintenance team by having a full understanding of the mechanical, electrical, and audio-visual systems within the property.
· Assisting the check in team ensuring guests bags are delivered to their bedrooms.
· Assisting the housekeeping team where required to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
· Maintaining cleanliness and tidying of public areas throughout the venue.
· Making station collections and providing any driving duties at the direction of the Operations/General Manager.
On Events
· Assisting the events team on event and wedding evenings with clear down duties: including managing car parking, cleaning, furniture pack down, room clearing and turn around.
· Security walk rounds, ensuring safety of the building and all guests
· To handle all guest complaints/concerns diligently, rapidly and professionally, ensuring clear communication and reporting to the Operations/General Manager the following morning
· To have good product knowledge of the facilities and services.
· Understanding what can be addressed and when teams need to be contacted out of hours.
· Understanding emergency protocol for the venue and adhering to Health and Safety procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
