The role at Josh’s Care Company:
Rate of pay:£12.75 per hour.
Location: S5 – Sheffield
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 36 hours per week- This would consist of working 3, 12 hour shifts per week – please note, we provide 24 hour around the clock care, therefore the candidate will be required to undertake a mixture of days, waking nights and alternate weekends.
Times: The day shift times are 8am – 8pm. The night shift times will run between 8pm – 8am.

Training:
Our team is committed to providing you with all the necessary training required to become fully competent in all aspects of specialised care. You will be offered an induction and thorough training, including online and practical, to ensure you have the support, skills and tools you need to deliver quality care to our service users.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Flexible availability.
- A current DBS (Paper or Update Service)
- A driving license (preferred but not essential)
- To be able to work days, waking nights and alternate weekends
About the role:
We're seeking someone who is passionate about providing quality care to an older gentleman with a spinal injury. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering complex care, such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, catheter care, personal care, pressure care, administering medication, and moving and handling. You will be working two-to-one with the service user and there will always be two carers on shift at all times.
The service user:
Our service user is a cheery person and enjoys social interactions with others in his own home and out in the community. He enjoys painting, jigsaw puzzles, board games, outings to the local garden centres and is very family orientated. As a care provider, your role will involve making a significant difference in the quality of life of our service user. A positive attitude and a friendly nature are essential for this role.
