We're looking for a caring and compassionate individual who's passionate about helping and supporting people. The right candidate will join our team of Caregivers whose main purpose is to make sure that the people who live in our client's homes are as comfortable as they can be. We are looking for a team player with experience dealing with the elderly and the infirm, who will also be responsible for performing basic household tasks such as laundry, meal prep, cleaning and shopping.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the patient is safe and comfortable.
- Provide companionship to patients who are alone and isolated.
- Be caring, compassionate, and supportive to patients with mental or physical disabilities.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living., such as bathing or eating.
- Assist patients with the purchase of food, clothing, and other necessities.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families and medical professionals., such as doctors, nurses practitioners, and others.
- Monitor the patient's condition and communicate changes in the patient's condition to a supervisor or other caregiver as appropriate.
- Provide assistance when moving or positioning patients who are confined to bed or a wheelchair.
- Be creative in providing care for patients with dementia or other memory impairments.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
