Job description
Full time live-in or live-out Caregiver needed for a 22-year-oldgirl who has cerebral palsy. Ideal candidate is compassionate, motivated, positive and must have prior experience working with people with special needs. Responsibilitiesinclude helping with personal care, such as showering, getting dressed, stretching, breakfast and getting ready for the day. Additional dutiesinclude light housework, transportationto appointments, going on walks, going to the libraryand workingon communication. Great opportunity with someone with a special needs backgroundto work in a private home!
- Pay: $29-$35 per hour
- Start date: August/September
- Hours: Monday- Friday, split shift, 6:30am-8:30AM, then 1PM-6PM
- Hours change in October
- Guaranteed 35 hours every week
- Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, health insurance stipend
- Live in accommodations: private bedroom and private bathroom in a downstairs suite with natural light.
