Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Duties:
- Provide personal care and support to elderly individuals in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion for the elderly population
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience and understanding when dealing with challenging situations
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary
