Personal Care Attendant (PCA)
Our company is seeking a dynamic, compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) that is excited begin their journey to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant!
A Personal Care Attendant (PCA) is responsible for providing personal care assistance to resident who need help with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. The PCA must demonstrate a caring and compassionate demeanor while providing services in a safe and effective manner.
Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Key Responsibilities:
- Helping residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility, transfers and daily exercises
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs and health status of the resident
- Maintaining confidential records and reports
Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- No prior work history as a PCA
