Job description
We are seeking to employ a part time care assistant to assist a lady in her own home.
This post will include one weekday morning each week, presently this will be every Tuesday from 10am until 2pm.
Additionally, this post will include approximately one weekend in three, presently Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 2pm.
A slightly earlier start or later finish may occasionally be needed with prior notice on the weekday.
Extra shifts are available some weeks to cover other care assistants’ annual leave.
The main duties required in this post are some aspects of personal care, laundry, cleaning, cooking/meal preparation, shopping and collecting prescriptions.
The post may also include assisting with attending medical appointments from time to time.
Previous experience of working within the care sector may be advantageous but it is not an essential requirement for this role.
Applicants must be reliable and conscientious with good timekeeping.
Applicants must have a genuine desire to work in the care sector and provide a high standard of care.
Applicants must be a member of the PVG scheme or be willing to become one prior to commencing employment.
Applicants must have a driving license and their own vehicle which will be used to travel locally within Perth city.
