We currently have multiple opportunities for care assistants to join our team at Highfield House, providing support and care within both our nursing and residential units.
What the job entails:
You will be part of a Team that supports our residents to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting mobility as well as providing emotional wellbeing. In turn you will have job satisfaction knowing that our residents lives are lived to the full in a safe, welcoming and homely environment.
You will also support with personal care and encourage our residents to maintain their independence focusing on what are our residents strengths and not weaknesses.
Experience is not necessary to get started, we will provide you with support and development through paid face to face training sessions, eLearning and the opportunity to gain qualifications whilst working.

About us:
You will find us on St Bees Road, just outside Whitehaven. Highfield House is an older property that has been lovingly converted over the years, providing a safe, secure, and homely environment to those who require nursing care, are highly dependent and people who are living with dementia.
Our Team are able to benefit from free parking, free uniform, 3 days paid training per year and a generous time and a half payment for overtime/additional shifts.

Please note: This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. This role involves working in a regulated activity with Adults.
