Job Description
Glen Lyn Care Home is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our team. The Assistant Assistant Assistant Assistant Assistant Care Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Glen Lyn Care Home team. This position will work closely with the Director of Operations to assist in the daily operations of the facility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Must have a positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations with grace and poise.
- Must be able to follow directions, complete tasks accurately, and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow standard operating procedures.
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the facility, including but not limited to supervising clients, ensuring client safety, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
- Work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
- Assist in the care and feeding of clients at all times during their stay in the facility. This includes supervising staff members who provide care to clients, as well as ensuring that clients are fed, changed, and comforted according to their needs at all times throughout the day.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility daily including assisting in changing bed linens, cleaning windows, sweeping floors, dusting furniture, etc., as directed by the Director of Operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
