Job description
As a Senior Night time Carer you will be responsible for the delivery of care within the home during your shifts. (2 or 3 night per week)
Assisting in delivering a high standard of holistic care to our 17 residents, promoting the core care values of privacy, dignity, rights, fulfilment, independence and choice at all times.
Maintaining records in accordance with the homes policies and procedures.
Dealing with enquiries when necessary, referring to the Head of Home as appropriate.
Maintaining professional conduct in line with relevant professional body and attend mandatory training courses..
Essential:
A caring, discreet and compassionate individual.
NISCC registered.
Level 2/3 in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent
Satisfactory Access NI check.
Experience of administering medication
Desirable
- Experience of working with people with Dementia
- Appropriate IT skills to be able to use Microsoft Word and the Internet
- Experience of team building and leadership skills.
- Experience of supervising other staff.

- Good reporting/recording skills
- Good communication skills with a wide range of people but particularly with older people
