About Bridge House
Bridge House Care Home is a residential and nursing care home, focused on person-centred care for every resident. Bridge House was opened in 2018 and is set in a picturesque location just outside the small town of Brighouse. We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment, with exceptional standards of care.
The Role of Senior Care Assistant
- Our senior care assistants are highly valued and are at the front line of care delivery.
- Our senior care assistants assist our residents with their individually chosen care needs, this includes personal care, emotional care, and medical care.
- As one of our amazing senior care assistants your day will be varied, interesting and rewarding. You’ll assist residents with enjoying life in a healthy way. Their daily necessities include washing, dressing, eating, and drinking, as well as getting around and participating in activity. Our seniors are also responsible for ensuring medication is given promptly, and correctly.
- One of the most important jobs of our senior care assistants is making our residents feel at home, respecting their own choices, assisting them with their needs and wants, and liaising with medical professionals and relatives.
- You will work as part of our well-loved team, communicating with one and other to ensuring the residents are at the centre of everything you do. Whilst all the time we keep you safe, protected and cared for too.

About You
- Are you patient, empathetic, compassionate and love to care for others? Do you enjoy making a difference whilst making meaningful relationships? If so, then you’ll fit right in at Bridge House.
- All training and inductions are provided at the home and online, so there’s no need to travel.
- Experience is welcome but we understand experience comes from the beginning so don’t worry if this is your first senior care role, or indeed if you have experience of other roles as everyone has something to offer no matter what their background or age.
- We provide all the information needed, you just provide a passion for exceptional care, a bit of common sense, and your most of the way there.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-48 per week
Salary: From £11.20 per hour
