Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise is an essential part of the University, responsible for supporting our students and graduates to plan their future career paths and develop essential enterprising skills. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we are expanding from 35 to approximately 55 staff members over the next few months.
As a Graduate Coach, you will provide an essential support service to our graduates, creating and delivering an ongoing coaching package along with identifying Southampton graduates that need greater support to achieve their best possible graduate outcome. Building on the unique skills and experience our graduates have gained from their time at Southampton, you will design and deliver effective careers education, information, advice and guidance to support them on their career journey or into further study.
You will possess a recognised professional qualification in careers guidance. In addition, you will have in depth knowledge of careers and employability and the current challenges facing students and graduates in HE and developments within the graduate labour market.
