Career Launch Work Experience, Belfast, 2023 Belfast, Northern Ireland

PwC
Full Time Belfast, Northern Ireland 10.56 - 12.04 GBP Today
Job description

The Career Launch Work Experience programme will provide you with the unique opportunity to find out what it’s like to work at PwC. You may be interested in doing an apprenticeship, going to university, or a combination of both. Perhaps you’re still not sure, and you want to find out more about PwC and the different areas you could join. On this programme, you’ll join us for five days in our Belfast office to hear from our senior leaders and current students about what it’s like to work at PwC.

This programme will enable you to experience our different business areas, including Audit, Consulting, Tax and Technology to help you decide if you'd like to pursue a career in one of these areas. You’ll hear from leaders in their field, and have the opportunity to ask them questions about their career journey. You’ll also have the chance to engage with current students on our School and College Leaver programmes. You’ll gain valuable personal and professional skills through interactive workshops, and take part in challenges that will support you in building your network and employability skills, all while having fun and experiencing our office culture.

If you perform well on the programme, and enjoy your time at PwC, we may be able to offer you a fast-tracked application onto one of our School and College Leaver roles. Another great opportunity to support your next career step.

The programme will run for five days in our Belfast office (Merchant Square, BT1 6GE), and is a paid work experience programme where you’ll be supplied with a PwC laptop for the week and we’ll reimburse your travel expenses and provide a daily lunch. You’ll need to be able to commit to being in the office 9am to 5pm each day between Monday, 7 August - Friday, 11 August.

Please note you may only submit one application for either the Career Launch Work Experience or the Virtual Insight Programme. If your application is unsuccessful for the Career Launch Work Experience, you’ll automatically be considered for the Virtual Insight Week Programme.

Programme dates:

Monday 7 August - Friday 11 August 2023.

What you’ll need:

You’ll need to be currently in Year 13 in Northern Ireland and be finishing school or college in 2024.

You'll need to be on course for a 96 UCAS tariff across your top 3 A-Levels in any subjects or equivalent qualification (excluding General Studies and the EPQ).

In line with our commitment to Net Zero by 2030, you’ll need to reside within 60 minutes commuting distance from the Belfast office. If this does not apply to you, please consider applying for our Virtual Insight Programme.

You’ll need to be eligible to work in the UK without company sponsorship.

Recruitment process deadlines:

Applications close on 10 March 2023

You’ll need to have completed our online behaviour-based assessment by 17 March 2023

You’ll need to have completed our Video Interview by 5 May 2023

You’ll receive the outcome of your application by 19 May 2023.
