Job description

We are seeking Care Workers with skills in one or more of the following areas IN MARKET HARBOROUGH, KETTERING AND CORBY IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE.

assisting elders with performing daily activities such as cleaning, preparing meals and housekeeping and assisting residents with socialising. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping others, have excellent communication skills and be willing to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and provide care to individuals who need assistance with daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding.
  • Stay in touch with family members and the individual's GP and inform them of any changes in the individual's condition.
  • Ensure that the individual is on their medication schedule.
  • Assist individuals with day to day tasks, such as buying groceries or doing housework.
  • Monitoring, recording, and communicating changes in an individual's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the individual and family.
  • Adhere to the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations.
  • Be caring and compassionate toward adults in their care; demonstrate good judgement when dealing with patients, visitors, families, colleagues, and children.

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £110.00-£130.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Shift availability:

  • Day shift (required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (preferred)
