About us
Heaton Community Centre is a large community centre based in the east of Newcastle. We have 2 large buildings and a busy programme of activities. Onsite we have a bar, childcare, community groups and office space as well as one off functions.
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable individual to help support our team. The ideal candidates will have experience cleaning indoor environments and can work quickly and efficiently. Our organisation is looking for a cleaner with a positive attitude who is confident to work alone and able to prioritise their workload whilst still being able to liaise with the management team and staff.
The successful Candidate will be DBS cleared by Heaton Community Centre.
Shifts- Mon, Weds & Fri 14:30-19:00 (13.5 hours per week term time 12 hours per week holiday time)
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
- General vacuuming, sweeping & moping.
- Emptying Bins
- Maintaining Toilet Cleanliness i.e. Scrubbing sinks, toilets and changing areas.
- Cleaning & Wiping Surfaces
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 13.5 per week
Salary: £9.50-£10.42 per hour
