Hours:
Full- time Days – (5 days a week – 37.5 hours)
Full-time Night – (4 nights a week – 40 hours)
Part-time day or night – (2, 3, or 4 shifts a week)
Sessional Work – (You choose the days and hours you work)
Sessional Workers: £13.39 per hour
The role is based at our registered houses at Harrow Road, London W9. You will support 12 people living in 3 separate flats who are supported to undertake the majority of their life activities and care. To support them you will need to be fit and able to undertake manual handling activities, as most of those you will support use a wheelchair and are unable to get into bed/bath etc. without help.
The vision of the service is to provide high quality care duties to the people we support by advocating for and promoting good health; helping to maintain a stimulating physical, mental, and enjoyable lifestyle, and being responsive to their emotional needs.
What does Care Work involve?
As a care worker, you will help people with learning disabilities to live safe, fulfilling, and dignified lives in supported accommodation.
Sessional work
If you don’t want to commit to a contract, you can opt for sessional work, where you can decide when and where you work. You will also have the option of accepting or declining any work offered by LDN London.
