Position Summary: As a Domiciliary and Supported Living Care Worker at KSS, you will be at the forefront of providing personalized care and support to our clients. You will work with individuals who have a range of care needs, from daily living assistance to more specialized support, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity. Your role will involve fostering a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes well-being and enhances the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance with daily activities, including personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
- Collaborating with clients to develop and implement personalized care plans that address their individual needs and preferences.
- Offering emotional support, companionship, and engaging in meaningful activities to enhance clients' social and emotional well-being.
- Assisting clients with mobility, transfers, and ensuring their safety at all times.
- Documenting and reporting changes in clients' health, behaviour, and overall well-being.
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Maintaining a clean and organized living environment for clients in both domiciliary and supported living settings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, supported living, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients' diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care.
- A commitment to promoting clients' independence and dignity.

Salary: £10.11-£10.75 per hour
