Job description
We are currently recruiting both full time, and part time, Care Workers to work in our family run care home in Whitley Bay. There are numerous different shift patterns available, ranging from day to night shifts.
Working in a unique family ran nursing home, for General Nursing. We work closely with the Health Authority and Local Councils, providing high quality care within a purpose built home with amazing views of the coast.
Carers work alongside a team of nurses, personal assistants, housekeeper, chef and nurse manager. We care for a range of different people with various health conditions, such as Cerebral Palsy, Huntingdon’s Disease, Alzheimer’s, brain injuries as well as Palliative care and general nursing.
The home can be very busy, but has strong family values running through it with a very supportive management team.
The home has a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
You must be approachable, able to think fast and be responsive to varying needs.
You must have had both vaccines to enable you to work in our care home.
