We are looking for care workers to deliver high level of quality care to Learning and Physical Disability, Palliative Care, Mental Health and Challenging Behaviour clients (Children & Adults). The role will require you to deliver quality care to our clients.
If you live in the Birmingham or Sandwell area and possess all it takes to care and genuinely look after vulnerable clients, look no further as we are currently recruiting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To provide a service of care to service users (SU) to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible.
- Support (SU) with dressing and undressing / preparing the (SU) for day care or trips out. Help with washing / bathing / showering / grooming and cleaning teeth.
- Comfortable with helping (SU) with nail care (fingernails only) as required.
- Support (SU) with all aspects of toileting and personal hygiene.
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with all aspects of continence management.
- Help with preparation of snacks and meals according to the (SU) like / dislikes.
- Assist with feeding as required.
- Carryout general cleaning duties.
- Support with shopping and preparation of shopping lists and assistance with budgeting.
- Assist (SU) with personal finance to include bill payment, collecting pensions etc.
DESIRABLES :
- Some experience of previously being a carer on a care package.
- Evidence of level 2 certification.
- Car driver.
