East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is currently seeking a number of Care Support Workers to work within their Radiology department across the trust at various locations. Candidate will need to be flexible to work within the hours of 8am and 6pm on a rotating rota. Full or part time options available for the next 12 months.

About the Trust
As one of the largest acute Trusts in the country, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT) has five hospital sites and numerous community clinics, providing teaching and training to doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals. EKHUFT also has a national and international reputation for delivering high quality specialist care, particularly in urology, kidney disease, and vascular service
What you will be responsible for
· Ensuring the clinical environment is clean, tidy and well presented to ensure a safe treatment area for patients/service user, and staff.
· Where required, act as a chaperone for patients/service users on request or when intimate examinations are carried out.
· Support the effective use of clinical stock and equipment, delegated responsibility for some aspects of stock control and ordering of supplies.
· Minimize the risk of harm to patients, staff and visitors by working according to the Trust risk management policy including participating in risk assessments as required.
The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.
You will have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 2 years plus a care certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in health and social care OR 12 months paid experience in an acute hospital environment in the last 3 years.
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
