We currently have vacancies for Care Support Workers: Community, Supported Living, Day Service and Respite Services- Flexible contracts, Full Time, Part Time and Night Workers.
Experience and relevant qualifications are an advantage but we also have an extensive training programme for those new to care work.

Rates of Pay:
·The wage is £10.29 per hour.
·Waking nights are paid at £10.79 per hour.
·Sleep ins are paid at £46.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST:
Support Worker - Adults and young people with Learning disabilities
The post holder will be required to work flexible hours on a 24/7 rota system, it will be a specific term of your contract of employment to support the business to deliver a high quality service and meet the individual needs and choices of our service user’s contracts. This will involve service users requesting your support and individual hours will vary to meet those needs, including morning’s afternoons, evenings and weekends. There are additional premiums for waking night duties and sleep ins
You will be responsible and accountable in assisting the Team Leaders and or Manager in the running of the services.
Implementing a high standard of quality care to service users in line with our Registered Services, meeting Care Standards the common induction frameworks and the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers.
Vital Responsibilities and Duties:
·Visit service users within their own home
·Assist with the daily care needs
·Support service users with personal care (toileting, bathing, dressing)
·Meal Preparation
·Medication Administration
·Social activities, shopping, cinema, bowling, day centre activities etc..
·General companionship
·Build a professional rapport with service users
·Communication and recording information
Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for caring, compassionate, reliable people that have a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users. Experience and Qualifications in Health and Social care are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
