Job description
We are the world’s largest provider of non-medical care and companionship services. Our goal is to provide top quality care to older people at home whilst helping them keep their independence. Our Care Professionals normally see the same clients week after week and all visits are a minimum of one hour. This means they easily build a lovely rapport with our clients and makes sure they are given enough time to not only do the job, but to do the job well. This is the Home Instead way.
We are a worldwide family of caring and compassionate people who believe that our older generation has the right to live in their own home for as long as they can and we have a genuine passion for making a difference to peoples lives.
Supporting our carers is extremely important to us and we have a 5 Star Employer Award based solely on our carers’ feedback. Also, we recently came within the top 20 of 2,300 Homecare providers in the West Midlands.
Home Instead Sutton Coldfield covers many surrounding areas including Four Oaks, Streetly, Kingstanding, Boldmere, Wylde Green, Castle Vale and Walmley so we aim to find clients as local as possible to you.
We are looking for kind hearted people who really want to make a difference to someone’s life. You would be helping clients in their own homes with a variety of duties and would see them regularly to build up a lovely rapport. Care experience is not essential as full training is provided and within 3 months you would receive the Care Certificate, a nationally recognised qualification.
All of our roles are part time, up to 25 hours/week, with alternate weekend availability essential. Personal care is a required part of the role so that we can offer a comprehensive service to all of our clients.
We have salary levels ranging up to £17.63 per hour for bank holidays and, on top of your hourly rate, mileage and travel & wait time will be paid. We pay for monthly training and supervisions, provide holiday pay and a pension scheme with employer contributions included. We provide a free health cash back scheme, a free employee assistance program and a discount shopping benefit. We have an early pay scheme where you can access a percentage of your accrued pay to date. You will receive a bonus payment for any successful referrals.
Whether you have direct experience in care, personally or professionally, or are just starting out – we offer industry leading training to all our carers to help you to help others.
