Can you help Emma to remain independent in her home in the Hillsborough, Sheffield Area?
We are currently recruiting local Care Professionals to join a supportive team assisting our Client Emma. Emma is in her 20’s and has lived with Autism and an anxiety disorder all her life. She lives in a happy home with her Mum and her 3 friendly dogs. It is really important that the successful candidate treats Emma as the bright young women she is. Emma loves watching Youtube, visiting the day centre and has an extensive DVD collection.
Emma requires support to achieve her recreational and social activities which include supporting her at the Day Centre with any activities Emma wishes to take part in. Emma enjoys going out to eat and will need support with meals at home and assistance with personal care.
Emma enjoys being around people who are relaxed and friendly. She will need consistent verbal reassurance to keep her feeling calm and at ease. The shift pattern required to support Emma will be a 9:30am to 12:30pm on a Thursday with flexibility to assist with holiday cover with the occasional over nights at weekends.
We would encourage local non-drivers as well as drivers to apply.
A kind and caring nature is essential for this role and full training will be given. As well as being patient and reassuring, you will be passionate about supporting Emma, whilst being reliable, trustworthy, and respectful.
