Care Professional

- Minimum 1 hour visits with each client always
- £11.75 per hour upon completion of your 12 week probation period (£11.25 before), £12.00 per hour after 1 year's service

Working Patterns
We are looking for a regular working pattern so clients can get to know and trust you. Talk to us about working morning, evenings, weekends or a combination of all of them.
It's important to know that our busiest times are 8am-10.30am and 4.15pm-9pm. We would also love to hear from you if you can work weekends only or weekends with weekdays.
Please note that this role involves visiting clients in different locations. Although we minimise the distance from one client to the next, it is only practical to complete the role if you have your own vehicle.
Care Professional responsibilities:
This is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care. Prior experience is valued but is not essential. We find that many people bring transferrable skills from other careers and from caring for family members.
Duties can include:
Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
Accompanying to appointments or shopping
Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
There are no specific qualifications required, but we really value any transferrable experience you might have including experience of caring for family members.

- Driving licence and vehicle
- Availability to work hours that meet clients' needs
This position is within the UK, so would require you to already be living in or near York, UK.
