Quadrille is a leading publisher of illustrated lifestyle non-fiction, publishing beautiful, informative, practical and fun books on food and drink, craft, gardening, fashion, nature, wellbeing and narrative non-fiction.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Editorial Assistant to join the team, providing vital assistance and administrative support. If you're looking for a role to to immerse yourself in making books and enjoy liaising with agents, authors, freelancers and other departments as well as having a keen eye for detail, we would like to hear from you.
- Proficient in Word and Excel and have demonstrated experience with InDesign
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Interested in writing and adapting cover copy
- Highly organised and able to multitask
- Confident with written and verbal communication with authors, agents and freelancers
- Interested in the subjects and lifestyle trends into which we publish
- Enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn
While prior publishing experience desirable, it is not essential. A love of books however, is vital.
