The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Managed Care Supervisor. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the agency’s Integrated Care Division.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
This position is primarily responsible for providing supervision in the monitoring and ongoing development of the Commonwealth Coordinate Care Plus managed care program.
This position will supervise and direct the daily program operational functions of the CCC Plus Program; ensure all contracts for the health plans and additional contractors as applicable are in compliance; assist staff in completing all assigned and required duties; and work closely on a daily basis with the Manager to ensure high-quality program operations.
The position works within the division and across the agency to meet strategic plans, objectives, and new initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Considerable knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare services, managed care and health programs.
Experience with contract management and an understanding of contract monitoring practices is required.
Knowledge of integrated, long-term care models is preferred.
Demonstratedindependent and collaborative project management skills, including planning, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation.
Demonstrated ability in project management and staff management.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals at various organizational levels.
Experience working within healthcare or managed care program operations is necessary.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Demonstrated ability to develop and conduct trainings and lead meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Competitive candidates should meet these preferred qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public health, health or business administration or related field is preferred.
Supervision experience and knowledge of supervisory principles and practices is preferred.
