4Ever Care UK Limited are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to join our office in Blackburn, Lancashire to manage, develop and grow the business.
The Registered Manager will be responsible for the setup, development and management of a new, independent Domiciliary Care Agency.
As the Registered Manager, you will play an instrumental part in building on the success of our established office. working alongside an amazing team of care co-ordinators, nurses, senior care givers, care givers and other professionals.
The role will require the individual to be Registered with the Care Quality Commission.
This role is based in Blackburn and is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week within the hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. However, it is important that applicants understand that they will be required to work outside of these hours covering our 24hr on-call service on a rota and may be required to work outside of these hours where required for the needs of the business and to support the staff team.

Responsibilities of the Registered Manager include:
· Provide leadership, management and support to the Team
· Take ownership of achieving the highest level of compliance with regards to regulations, laws, quality standards and policies
· Accountable for the Health and Safety of staff and clients
· Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and approved practice, promoting business aims and values
· Continually review and improve processes to ensure a first-class, person- centred service is being delivered to all clients
· Involvement in the recruitment of high quality staff and a responsibility of maintaining a high retention ratio
· Provide and monitor staff training
· Effectively schedule care for clients
· Handle client complaints and escalate if necessary
· Participation in the 24hr on-call rota
· Take ownership of quality assurance and governance through scheduled Spot Checks, Service Reviews, Internal Audits and Annual Surveys
· Ability to complete and continuously improve the Assessments, Risk Assessments and Support Plans
· Ad hoc duties to support the Director, as and when required, to meet the needs of the business including covering Carer duties when necessary.
· To be a key figure in ensuring the business grows
· Be prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the service
Experience and skills
· Must have S/NVQ L5 or equivalent, or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience of care services, risk assessment and person-centered care and support
· Management experience of service provision in the care industry
· Good administrative skills and computer literacy
· Experience of managing and developing an effective staff team including recruitment, training, supporting and supervising staff
· Experience of financial management desirable
· In depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores
Additional requirements
· Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service
· Full drivers license
