Position Overview:
As a Care Assistant for Complex Care, you will be crucial in providing personalized support to clients with complex medical needs in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and that their wishes and preferences enhance their well-being.
- Support Service Users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community.
- Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Service Users are followed.
- Be responsible for informing the Nurse / Management team of any changes in the needs of service users.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed schedules.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Foster a supportive and respectful environment for clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training in caregiving, healthcare, or nursing.
- Strong understanding of complex care needs and medical protocols.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
· Holder of a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.

Salary: £11.00-£15.00 per hour
