Care Assistant - Up to £15 per hour Oxford, England
Job description
We are looking for a professional care assistant to join our hourly homecare team. When you join us, you’ll discover how our community of colleagues are always there for each other, supporting our clients in and around Oxford.

In return for your commitment and diligence when supporting our clients, we provide the following employment packages for our hourly carers:
- Guaranteed pay contract - consistent pay for an agreed minimum amount of hours every month (up to 25 hours a week)
- Minimum of 3 hour shifts - This work is covering our live in carer breaks so you will have the opportunity to do a minimum of 3 hour shifts or our long day break of 8 hours
- Excellent pay rates - £13 per hour during the week increasing to £15 per hour on weekends.

The people we are looking for:
As an hourly carer, you’ll be providing care, support and companionship to our clients in Oxfordshire who wish to live an independent life in their own homes. This will include providing personal care, assisting with household duties, supporting safe mobility in and outside of the home, companionship and running general errands, such as completing the weekly shop or collecting prescriptions.
As you will mostly likely be supporting clients to keep in touch with their community, local knowledge of the area is a plus. We also require you to have:
- Previous paid experience as a care assistant, domiciliary carer, support worker or personal healthcare assistant.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A driving licence and your own transport is essential, with business insurance to drive your client
- Ability to use technology to a good level, as all of our systems are online you’ll spend less time writing admin and more time with your client
- The right to work in the UK
- Residence within Oxfordshire
