Care Support Worker

Caremark currently provide care for a variety of clients in North and South Bristol as well as South Glos. We are a lovely bunch of carers who are looking for some fresh faces to welcome to the company and support our amazing clients in the comfort of their own homes. If you haven't provided care before, don't worry we have you covered by providing training in person and online.
Caremark offer guaranteed "bank" and "contracted" hours starting at a hourly rate of £11.25 and increasing to £12.25 on weekends with an offer of an increased hourly rate for reliable carers!
Experience is not essential as we provide full training and ongoing support. We also warmly welcome those with previous Care Assistant or Support Worker experience.

- Salary up to £28,000 per annum

The Nitty Gritty Part- Care Support Worker
The care and support provided by Care and Support Workers is expected to include support that would reasonably be given by members of the client’s family and whilst adhering to Caremark’s policies and procedures at all times. To share with other staff in meeting the personal care and support needs of customers in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence.
Carer Responsibilities for a Care Support Worker (not limited too):
- To assist clients who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including dressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet.
- To help clients with their mobility and with any physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of personal aids and equipment.
- Report any safeguarding or general concerns to Field Care Supervisors or Care Managers
- To help in the promotion of mental and physical activities of clients through talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.
- To read and write reports and be involved in clients’ reviews and training activities.
- Aid clients with daily domestic tasks such as laundry and cleaning
- Encourage food and fluid intake and assist with feeding where necessary
- Administer medications as explained in the care plan
- Encourage independence of clients where possible
- Be a listening ear for clients

Salary: Up to £21,000.00 per year
