Care Support Worker - Extra Care - St Johns Court, Bath
£21,575 - £21,968 per annum pro rata (£11.18 - £11.39 hourly rate)

We are looking for an Extra Care Support Worker to be based in one of our Extra Care Services at St Johns Court, Bathwick, Bath on a Full or Part time basis on permanent contract.
We are looking for an Extra Care Night Support Worker to be based in one of our Extra Care Services at St Johns Court in Central Bath on a Part time, permanent contract of 17.5 to 30 hours.
The shifts run from 9.30pm to 8am the following day. You will join a well-established team to deliver high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. You will be working on a part-time basis on a fixed 4-week rota which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Our Extra Care homes offer a vibrant community atmosphere in Bath and North East Somerset.
What is Extra Care?
Extra Care Housing is for adults, who have some care needs, with an assured tenancy in a self-contained flat in a purpose-built or adapted scheme. Our Extra care housing services have been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in June 2022.
As an Extra Care Support Worker, you will:
- Assist tenants with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing
- Promote tenant’s independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of care
- Adhere to and complete accurate and timely records of the care and support provided to tenants
- Providing support to access third party and NHS services
- Be a strong team player and work on own initiative when needed
- Promote lifestyle choice, offering individuals the opportunity and motivation to retain independence and stay in control of their lives.
About You
Previous experience of working in care would be an advantage, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential and full training will be provided. This opportunity is ideal for an individual aiming to develop their career and gain hands on experience in a thriving and friendly workplace.
