We are looking to recruit a highly motivated carer to join our team at Lockermarsh care home in Thorne

What the role involves:
* Assisting residents with personal care, such as washing, dressing and bathing
* Assisting residents who have limited mobility, to remain independent.
* To assist with; Pressure relief care and physical assistance to those who may require it.
* To provide quality care to people with a cognitive impairment, physical disability & learning difficulties; in a residential setting.
* Complete accurate daily records and observe care plan needs for residents with vigilance and full understanding.
* We use Log my care application for daily records within the service
* Promote a high-quality standard of care.
* Take part in mandatory training & maintain your professional knowledge.
Further information;
- Relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 1 or 2 in healthcare, although this may not be essential as training may be provided.
- You need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently & as part of a busy team.
- You must be flexible to assist the home in shifts, on a advanced planned rota.
Be willing to pick up shifts to support the homes safe running.
You must understand of the importance of social interaction; Promote activities and use skills to promote well-being
- Be willing to apply for a DBS/ or give evidence of any applications to the live DBS update service.

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
