Care Assistants at Herefordshire Care Homes come from all walks of life. Ideally you have a Diploma level 2 in care or equivalent or are keen to further your career in care. If you are kind, friendly and care about the life about older people then we could have just the role for you.
Being a Care Assistant supports residents to remain as independent as possible respecting their rights to choice, privacy and dignity. It also means having fun and using your skill to keep people connected to their communities. It also means working flexibly as part of a team to support residents with new interests, hobbies and wellbeing in a stimulating homely environment.
What you’ll need
Experience of caring for others your belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative and imagination, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload, you’re great at keeping records too. Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: £10.42-£12.50 per hour
