About Our Client
The client is a market leader within the Manufacturing and Production industry and due to recent growth, they are currently looking for an Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. They currently have a large, supportive HR team with plenty of opportunity to develop and progress. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling a high volume of ER cases from start to finish, with confidence in how to coach and advise managers on best practice and procedures. They should have a passion for Employee Relations and be able to build relationships effectively. CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
Job Description
As a Senior HR Advisor, your key responsibilities will be:
- Partner with line managers to ensure company policies and procedures are being followed at all times
- Manage general and complex employee relations issues, guiding and advising managers on best practice and providing advice where needed
- Respond to employee concerns and queries
- Take part in HR Project work
- Ensure employee data is being uploaded and maintained via a system accurately
- Keep up to date with UK employment law and ACAS guidelines
- Assist with development of HR team members
The Successful Applicant
- Be an effective communicator and able to build strong working relationships across the business
- Live locally to Watford and able to commute at least 3 times a week to the Watford office
- Very occasional travel may be required
- Have experience in a HR Advisory role with experience managing lower level and complex Employee relations cases
- Have up to date knowledge of UK employment law
- Demonstrable experience of advising managers through ER cases
- Ideally experience within a high volume/ fast paced environment
