You get to work with our fabulous clients and know that every day you are making a hugely positive impact on their lives!Responsibilities of our Care Assistant:As this role is community based you will be supporting people in their own home with duties will include personal care, assisting clients with washing and dressing, shopping, housekeeping, companionship, medication, meal preparation, and taking clients for appointments or outings.We are looking for Care Assistants who can work a flexible shift pattern of either 7am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm and 5pm to 10pm and alternate weekends in Stevenage, Letchworth, Hitchin and surrounding areas.Requirements of our Care Assistants:We need people who are looking to enhance the lives of our clients and make each day fun and enjoyable. From enjoying good conversation to going out to their favourite shops, we want to make each visit a great one!You must be a driver as you’ll be visiting our clients in their own homes, therefore you must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.Must have the Right to Work in the UK and live locally to the area.You will be the face of Right at Home, so you will need to be personable, well presented and completely trustworthy. Attitude and the desire to help others is as important as previous experience as a Care Assistant.If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
