Care Assistant - Day Cheltenham, England
Job description
To look after my mother living at home in Cheltenham who is mentally very alert but needs to be provided with 4 hours of care per day in 2 x 2 hours visits once in the morning between say 9-11AM and in the evening say 5-7 PM or alternative times to be agreed between client and care assistant . She will need to be provided with a meal, given medication and helped with bathing, admin and household jobs. She loves scrabble and card games and watching quiz shows.. She is a little incontinent sometimes and her mobility is poor albeit the house has a Stannah stairlift and she has walking aids. Only candidates with at least 5 years care experience or nursing should apply. The job will be shared between two candidates with the 7 days covered between them including weekend ( alternate weekends for example) and relief cover will be provided during holidays. References will be required. Candidates should be living in Cheltenham/Gloucester area or nearby. Only individual candidates should apply no agencies please.
