Working Patterns
We are looking for people to work predominantly mornings or evenings for 2 or 3 week days plus alternate weekends. You could combine both if you want to have closer to full time hours.
Depending on what you want to earn, you would work 2 or 3 week days plus alternate weekends.
Please note that this role involves visiting clients in different locations. Although we minimise the distance from one client to the next, it is only practical to complete the role if you are an active cyclist or have your own vehicle and if you live within the Reading area.
Care Professional responsibilities:
This is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care. Prior experience of the job is not essential. We find that many people bring transferrable skills from other careers and from caring for family members.
Duties can include:
Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
Accompanying to appointments or shopping
Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
There are no specific qualifications required, but we really value any transferrable experience you might have.

This position is within the UK, so would require you to be within a reasonable travel distance of Reading, UK.
