Job summary
We are seeking a driven, dedicated, efficient, flexible, and hard-working individual to support the continued growth of the research centre, with a particular focus on the management of our complex projects, grant applications, communication, and marketing activities. The role will involve working with the Director and Executive Director along with other members of faculty, research and administrative staff and key Imperial College and external collaborators.
Background
Established in 2017, the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation (CHEPI) — one of the largest and most active research centres at Imperial College Business School — leads large-scale research projects involving faculty across Imperial College London and other leading academic institutions. We look beyond the traditional boundaries of medical science and technology, healthcare systems and public-health infrastructure. Duties and responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will work alongside the Centre Director and Executive Director to provide support to the administrative components of grant applications and active research projects. The Centre is a fast-paced environment involving collaborations with academics and policy experts across the world. The ideal candidate will be able to handle working on multiple tasks simultaneously, at pace, while having a keen eye for detail and keeping senior members of the Centre up to speed on developments.
Essential requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Excellent written and spoken communication and networking skills
- Strong organisational skills with ability to make long-term plans
- Fervent attention to detail
- Flexible attitude towards working hours
- Ability to effectively manage and deliver multiple tasks at once
- Able to work independently
- Administrative support experience
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
