About the Barley View Care Team
The Barley View Care Team work together to ensure our residents live safely and healthily at Barley View. The Team consists of Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Care Assistant, Care Assistants, day and night support. The team work together to support the delivery of high-quality care in a safe and comfortable environment, whilst working in accordance with CQC regulations and the fundamental standards of care, in line with the Health and Social Care Act (2008), Essential Standards of Quality and Safety (2010) and Company requirements.

This role will support the delivery of excellent care within Barley View Care, and to provide a holistic approach to the health and wellbeing of people who use our service, ensuring care and support needs are delivered respecting choice, dignity, individuality, and independence. Supporting all individuals with all aspects of their daily life, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility, and mealtimes.
This is pivotal role in helping to improve the quality of life for our residents. Assisting residents in daily activities and tasks and provide physical support for residents. Ensuring they feel safe and comfortable, promoting positive wellbeing.

What you will need to be successful in this role
- NVQ level 2 in Health and social care desirable or the willingness to work towards.
- Basic experience in a similar role is essential
- A genuine interest in caring for older people
- Willing to participate in National Vocational Training Programmes
- Good communication skills
- Good basic level of English both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
