Job description

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Surrey Hills, The Huntington & Langham Estate have exciting opportunities available for care assistants. We are looking for naturally friendly, caring people with a genuine interest in supporting/assisting our residents in all aspects of care and daily life.

We work to small ratio's of staff to residents (1:3), enabling high standards of care and time to spend with our residents, developing 'family' relationships.

Requirements

minimum of 1 years experience

Genuine interest in working within the care environment

Satisfactory DBS and police check

Team Player

Ability to communicate at all levels

Main Duties

Assisting our residents with all aspects of care and daily life, including physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Assisting with personal care with privacy, dignity and respect. Promoting daily stimulation through activities and interests. Assist with meal choices and mealtimes.

Following care plans and completing daily records as instructed in line with the companies policies and procedures.

Work as part of the team and offer person centred care. Offer choices and support independence.

Provide care and compassion to palliative residents or those whom have a progressive illness.

We are set in 30 acres of beautiful grounds which are used daily to benefit our residents. We are looking to recruit, on behalf of our residents, caring, passionate assistants, to become part of our family, and support them with their daily lives.
