Bournville Gardens Retirement Village based in Birmingham/Bristol Road South part of the Extra Care Charitable Trust, are recruiting now!

Would you like to join our team to support the delivery of a domiciliary care service to our residents?

We provide a domiciliary care service all under one roof. No more travelling!

Hours: 36 hours per week - Permanent Contract -

Shifts: 7 days rolling rora (Must to be able to do a mixed of early, late shifts and weekends).

Salary: £10.20

As a Care Assistant, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
  • Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
  • Encourage independence and self-belief
  • Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.

Care Assistant Person Specification

  • Qualified at Level 2, or equivalent, or hold the Care certificate with relevant transferable experience
  • Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
  • Passionate about delivering a quality care service
  • Flexible with hours.
