About us
We are an established, family-run domiciliary care company with over 35 years of experience in health and social care. We have four teams working in Cirencester, Chippenham and Malmesbury, providing the highest quality support and care for older people in their own homes, enabling them to live a lifestyle of their own choosing. We are driven, committed and passionate and have developed an exceptional reputation for providing a high quality and consistently reliable care service and are recommended by healthcare professionals.
Who are we looking for? Although we don’t require any prior healthcare experience, there are a few characteristics you will need to be a successful home care support worker.
Ensuring our clients are cared for by the right people with the right values is our top priority. You will need to be kind, friendly, patient, respectful, committed, hardworking, have a can-do attitude and enjoy caring for others.
You might be a carer already, may have cared for a family member or friend previously, or just want the opportunity to make a real difference. Our 30 years of experience as a leading care provider has shown us that previous experience simply isn’t necessary to become a fantastic carer. We’ll give you all the tools and training you require to excel at what you do.
You will need to be comfortable with:
- Carrying out all aspects of personal care – help with getting in and out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing and help going to the toilet
- Assisting and administering medication – with appropriate training
- Any other daily tasks that may be required – such as light housekeeping, preparing meals and running errands such as shopping trips
- Monitoring clients’ health and wellbeing
- Working as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Carrying out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
If this sounds like something you would enjoy, I would love to hear from you.
