Job description
We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our team at Polebank Hall Residential Care Home. We are a specialist Dementia Care home and we offer 24 hour care and support to 29 people. We are a well established company with a great reputation and we are situated in Gee Cross.
This is a rewarding role and there is room for growth within the company. The main responsibilities of the job include -
- Assisting residents with personal care and all daily living activities including meal time assistance
- Record keeping
- Escorting residents out to appointments, to a&e and on trips out
- End of Life Care
No experience is required for this role and all training and induction support is provided. We do ask that all applicants are of caring nature, motivated and must have a genuine desire to work with older people. Reliability is a key requirement and all applicants will be expected to be flexible and must be able to maintain high standards of attendance and must be punctual.
The available rota is fixed and includes working 1 weekend out of 3 and involves working 3 days per week. The shift times are 7:30am - 20:00pm. The successful applicant would be given a permanent 37.5 hour per week rota following a 3 month probation period.
