Pockets of Peace Care LTD, is a privately owned domiciliary care service provider covering Barnsley and other surrounding areas in Yorkshire. Our services focus on improving your quality of life through supporting young and older adults to maximise their independence in their own homes for as long as possible.
We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team and provide support to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and patient, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently. The Care Assistant will also be responsible for providing emotional support and companionship to clients in need.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help patients with mobility issues to move around safely.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Observe and report any changes in patient's condition or behaviour.
- Assist in providing meals and snacks to patients.
- Help patients to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medication as prescribed by the doctor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
