Care Assistants required for a Dementia care home in Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO8 8TR.

We are looking for experienced, dedicated, and motivated individuals to join our friendly team in our residents’ home.

If so, then we have an ideal role for you. From providing personal care, supporting residents with meals to spending fun times, engaging, and participating in activities.

As a care assistant you will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our residents, accurate and complete documentation, monitoring and observing for any health changes and reporting to the senior carers.

Ideally you will have completed an NVQ 2 or hold the Care Certificate. Training & support will be provided to complete qualifications.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position, and these can take some time to be received so we recommend that candidates apply for this at their earliest convenience. Please ensure your DBS certificate is on the update service as this is required for Nightingale Court to be able to use it at this specific place of work. Nightingale Court Ltd does not pay for Enhanced DBS checks however we can assist with obtaining this if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Hours/Shifts: 36 Hours per week, including alternating weekends

Salary: From £11.18 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
LFD Testing and temperature recording required on arrival
