Care Assistant Wigan, England

MacIntyre Charity
Full Time Wigan, England 21312 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Is your career in care as rewarding as it could be? Are you frustrated with unrealistic schedules that leave no time for the people you support?

Why not join MacIntyre? You will work with the same people regularly and have the opportunity to build long term life changing relationships.

We're looking for Full-time and Part-time Support Workers to join the team at a new and friendly service in Manchester. You would be supporting a young man who is in his 20s at his own home. Your ability to drive unlocks the opportunities for them to do the things they really enjoy, so you must be a driver with a clean license. Don't worry you won't be racing between appointments!

Want to know more?

Craig* is a fun-loving man who enjoys gaming and going for long walks.

What does Craig* want from his Support workers?

  • A good sense of humour
  • Share a love for animals
  • Interest in music.

You would need to be a person who is able to support Craig in following guidelines or instructions while being calm and patient. Consistency is key! Also, bringing innovative ideas and encouraging him to try out new activities, would be a trait that could lead you to succeed within this role.

Qualifications are not a requirement but a willingness to learn is essential. If this sounds like something you could do, please do not hesitate to apply.

*Names changed for confidentiality
