Domiciliary Care Assistant
We are looking for experienced Domiciliary Care Assistants with the desire to help vulnerable and elderly people. The right applicant will have a caring and nurturing personality who enjoys spending time with people.
We have full and part time positions available in Plymouth, Tavistock, Yelverton, Ivybridge and Kingsbridge.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Providing companionship
- Helping with personal care
- Helping with mobility around the home
- Assisting with medication
- Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
Essential
· 6 months – Domiciliary Care Assistant – Required
· Driving licence and car - Required
· Enhanced DBS (can be processed through us)
Salary
· £10.75 per hour
· £0.35 per mile
Hours
· 07:00 – 14:30
· 16:00 – 22:00
