As a Care Professional you need;
A willing, positive and compassionate approach to assist people within your local community.
Be able to make a commitment of at least 10 hours per week some of which must include some availability alternate weekends.
Happy to undertake all types of visits which can include supporting a client with; shopping, household duties, collecting prescriptions, meal preparation, attending appointments, participate in hobbies and crafts, personal care (washing, bathing, dressing etc.)

No formal qualifications are required however previous experience in a health and social care or a customer service role is beneficial. We will provide all the training required for the position.
You must have good people skills, be calm and able to adapt your approach to the meet the needs of the clients. A willingness to learn is also essential for the role of a Care Professional as each client is different and no two days are exactly the same.
